From airport to downtown

Whether you are arriving by plane, boat, train or car, here are some suggestions that might help you with your travel planning.

How to get there

When you arrive at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), here are the options available to get to the Bonaventure Hotel or to the main hotels located downtown:

  • 747 shuttle bus is located at Door 28 at the arrivals level. Departures are usually every 10 to 20 minutes, all day long. The fare is $11.25 CAN per person and gives you a 24-hour pass for the bus, métro, exo train and REM in Zone A (agglomeration of Montréal).  The final destination is the central bus station located downtown Montréal or Berri-UQAM metro station. From there, you can take the metro (Orange line) to Bonaventure station if you rented a room at Bonaventure Hotel or to the metro station closest to your hotel. 
    Berri-UQAM is a main station that is served by the GreenOrange, and Yellow lines.
  • Taxis are located at Door 23 of the arrivals level. Plan a 20 to 40 minutes ride to get downtown. Between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m., the fixed rate is $49.45 CAN and between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., the fare is $56.70 CAN.

    If you want to get around using public transit, the Société de transport de Montréal offers a bus and metro system that will take you throughout the city. 

    There are many fares available, and you’ll be able to find the one that best suits your needs.
