The ISFG Congress is the leading international event dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge in the field of genetic markers applied to forensic investigations. Meeting registration includes admission to 3 days of scientific session talks, scientific poster presentations, an exhibit hall, and networking and entertainment opportunities throughout the week.
Registration Fees

Congress Registration Fee includes:
- Admission to all scientific and special sessions, exhibition hall and poster area
- Welcome bag with Congress material
- Admission to Welcome Reception held on Tuesday night (August 18th)
- Coffee breaks and lunches during main congress days (Wednesday, August 19th through Friday, August 21st, 2026)
Workshops
12 inspiring workshop sessions are offered as part of the pre-congress, Monday and Tuesday. It’s a great way to enrich your knowledges with peers.
Half Day: $110
Full Day: $175

Workshop Registration Fee includes
- Admission to selected pre-congress workshop(s)
- Coffee breaks during your selected workshop(s)
- Lunches during full-day workshop(s) only
- You must be registered for the Congress in order to attend workshops.
- Cancellation policy: No refund
Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner is optional but such a good way to end the congress with colleagues and friends, on a festive note. Enjoy a three-course meal served with two glasses of wine. The evening includes a musical performance you don’t want to miss! Tickets are available at a cost of $110.

Method of Payment
Payment of registration fees (in $CAN) can be done through the online registration process by using a Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard).
Refund Policy
All cancellations for Congress registration must be emailed to registration@isfg2026.ca prior to the below deadlines:
Cancellations received until and including June 15th, 2026 – full refund minus a $50 administrative processing fee. From June 16th, 2026 – no refund is allowed.
Please note that Workshop sessions and Gala Dinner are not refundable.
You can’t attend after you registered?
Should you have an impediment past the cancellation deadline, you can transfer your registration to one of your colleagues who will be able to attend. To do so, please contact registration@isfg2026.ca in order to get the instructions regarding that matter.
